How we make CBD oil
The hemp plant contains many active compounds that are known for their numerous health-promoting properties and help an ever-growing number of people to achieve greater well-being. In order to incorporate precisely these compounds and their full potency, in the highest possible quality, into a product that is easy to use, they are extracted using various extraction methods.

Step 1
Cultivation & Harvest
Once our hemp plants have grown and matured throughout the summer and autumn, they are harvested by hand in late autumn.
Step 2
Drying & Preparation
After harvesting, the hemp plants are gently dried to preserve all their valuable nutrients. We then carefully remove the large leaves and separate the flowers from the stems. Next, the dried hemp flowers are gently ground – the ideal preparation for the subsequent extraction of high-quality CBD oil.
Step 3
Ethanol extraction
In the next step, the crushed hemp flowers are mixed with ethanol (alcohol) to gently extract the valuable active ingredients from the plant material. After a specific extraction time, the plant material is carefully separated from the ethanol. The resulting ethanol-extract mixture is then filtered several times until a clear, golden-coloured liquid is produced – the basis for high-quality CBD oil of Swiss standard.
Step 4
From extract to finished CBD oil
To produce CBD oil, the ethanol-extract mixture is heated in a closed distillation unit until the ethanol evaporates, leaving behind pure hemp extract. This has a honey-like consistency and a golden-brown colour – a sign of high quality.
The extract is tested in the laboratory for CBD and THC content, then diluted with MCT oil to the desired concentration, filtered and bottled in dropper bottles. The result is a natural CBD oil of premium Swiss quality.
