But what is the “CBD” in our CBD drops?

Our CBD drops are so-called broad spectrum oils. After the full extraction of the CBD oil from the hemp plants, a further process stage takes place – distillation. This additional distillation completely removes THC from the resulting broad spectrum oil. All cannabinoids – with the exception of THC – as well as terpenes and flavonoids can still be found in Broad Spectrum oils. We produce our broad-spectrum oils from selected organic hemp and full extraction of the hemp plants, with subsequent distillation to remove THC. What is the difference between full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD oils and isolates?
The hemp drops offered on this page are so-called CBD full spectrum oils (full spectrum oils).
A full spectrum CBD oil contains all the cannabinoids of the hemp plant. In addition to CBD, full spectrum oils also contain CBG (cannabigerol), CBN (cannabinol) and traces of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol).
It also contains terpenes and flavonoids, which interact with the cannabinoids to create the so-called entourage effect.
You can also buy CBD isolates in our Blütengold CBD shop. CBD isolates consist of almost 100 % pure cannabidiol (CBD), which is why CBD isolates have a different effect on the body than full-spectrum and broad-spectrum oils. CBD isolates do not have the entourage effect, as the other cannabinoids of cannabis such as CBG and CBN, as well as terpenes and flavonoids, are not contained in the products.
You can also buy broad spectrum oils in our CBD shop. The oil extracted from the hemp plant has been completely freed of THC through additional distillation. Broad-spectrum CBD oils are therefore particularly suitable for people who are sensitive to THC or want to avoid THC for other reasons. Is the CBD oil in our hemp drops legal?
When buying our CBD-containing hemp drops, you do not need to worry that you are operating in a legal grey area. The hemp drops are completely legal in Switzerland. The difference lies in the use of the plants. Our hemp oil is characterised by a particularly low THC content. For this reason, the products do not fall under the Narcotics Act and can therefore be sold freely and legally without hesitation.
What are cannabis oil and hemp oil?
Hemp is becoming more and more popular again in our society. You may have heard of various names for cannabis-derived oils, including cannabis oil, hemp oil and CBD oil. But do these names describe the same product? The answer is “no”: they are oils extracted from hemp in different ways, each with a different area of application.
Cannabis oil contains a lot of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) – in contrast to our CBD oil. Another name for cannabis oil is also “THC oil”. It is mainly consumed to induce intoxication and altered consciousness. The THC content of cannabis oil is around 50 to 80 %, which is why it is subject to the Narcotics Act and is illegal. However, it is now possible to obtain a prescription for THC oil for medical purposes. Cannabis oil is obtained by extraction from the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant, just like CBD oil. However, the extraction process is less complex, as the THC does not have to be removed from the product in the case of cannabis oil. The extraction of THC oil is usually illegal, which is why this product is often not of high quality.
Hemp oil, on the other hand, is completely legal to buy in shops. Hemp oil is cold-pressed from hemp seeds – in contrast to CBD oil and THC oil, which are extracted from the flowers and leaves of the cannabis plant. Another name for hemp oil is therefore hemp seed oil. There are almost no traces of CBD and THC in hemp oil. Due to its balanced fatty acid profile (omega-3 and omega-6), it is very nutritious and has an excellent effect on the metabolism. This is why hemp seed oil is primarily used in the kitchen as a valuable vegetable oil.
However, it should not be heated or only slightly heated. Hemp oil can also be used for skin care and hair care, where it unfolds its regenerating effect. Many people therefore massage a few drops of hemp oil into their face, hair and skin every day.
