What is CBD cosmetics?

Our CBD cosmetic products combine the power of hemp extracts from Switzerland with the nourishing and beneficial effects of other natural ingredients from organic cultivation. The hemp extract is made from the flowers of female cannabis plants. Decarboxylation of the hemp extract produces the valuable cannabidiol (CBD), which can have a calming, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect on the whole organism. One form of application of cannabidiol is absorption via the oral mucosa, for example in the form of our CBD mouth spray and SOS spray. However, CBD can also be applied externally in the form of our specially developed CBD Balsam Original and CBD Balsam Skin Saver.

CBD cosmetic products for care, regeneration and protection

Not only the brain and the peripheral nervous system are equipped with the endocannabinoid system, but also our skin, the largest human organ. The CBD contained in the skin care products and other cannabinoids activate the cannabinoid receptors in the skin.

CBD cosmetics can thus unfold their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant effects and soothe and regenerate stressed skin. CBD can favour the production of collagen, which is responsible for strengthening the skin, muscles and connective tissue. Studies have also found that CBD can potentially improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars and skin discolouration, partly due to the antioxidants it contains. Free from synthetic ingredients

All ingredients in Blütengold cosmetic products come from organic farming and are therefore pesticide and herbicide-free. We also completely avoid synthetic ingredients: microplastics, parabens, paraffins, silicones, PEG (polyethylene glycol), synthetic fragrances and emulsifiers are not found in our natural cosmetic products. These artificial additives are suspected of causing allergies, influencing hormone balance and leading to skin irritation. The exclusive use of natural ingredients from organic cultivation can not only promote your health, but also protect our environment.

For example, some of our CBD cosmetic products contain selected olive oil, which prevents skin ageing and promotes skin regeneration thanks to its high vitamin E content. Beeswax also supports skin cell regeneration thanks to its vitamin A content. Other natural ingredients in Blütengold CBD cosmetic products include comfrey, camphor and ribwort, which can support skin health thanks to their anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antibacterial and wound-healing effects.
